Phonique is next up for the Dessous Classics project, providing four un-missable mixes of his outstanding track ‚For the Time Being‘. Originally released on his ‚Identification‘ long player from 2004, the track features the eternally haunting sounds of Whitest Boy Alive, Erlend Øye. Kicking off the release is Phonique‘s own 10 Years After Remix – pulling out all the stops and providing a truly fresh take on the track, layering up the emotive synths into an evolving and epic 8 minutes of joy. Englander Burnski also delivers his A-game, twisting the original into a club-ready deep bomb – Øye‘s vocal takes a back seat and focus is firmly on the groove. Rounding off this release is of course the original track, which still sounds every bit as vital as it did 10 years ago. The Remix Album for ‘For The Time Being’ (incl. more new mixes) will be released in December. A preview is now available in selected stores.
